I've been playing around with Pentel Ink Brush pens lately and did a quick-ish drawing the other night of Wu Ao-Shi, the Pirate Queen of Pinghai Bay from the Matt Fraction/Ed Brubaker run of "Immortal Iron Fist." Decided to throw some color on it for practice.Related content

Really, really nicely done! I've been toying around with Kuretake pens as well, for the little bots and bugaboos I do for my Wrongrobot book project. Very challenging learning curve depending on scale... I prefer the brush nibs to the foam ones on the smaller gauges, but the brushes are harder to control at smaller sizes.

I like the Pentel Pocket brush pens more than the Kuretake ones for crisp lines. I've found for a more organic, even sumi-e brush look the Kuretake is great. Both are awesome in their own right.
