In almost every corner of products, there is always a rivalry between two things, whether it's unofficial or not. You have those competitions between McDonald's and Burger King, Coke and Pepsi, Facebook and Twitter, The Simpsons and Family Guy, Marvel and DC, Pokemon and Digimon, Nintendo and Sega, and so on. In the 3D-animated world, however, there is no mistaking that Pixar and Dreamworks are often considered rivals, even though other actors such as Illumination and Disney have started to make some gains in the frey.

Yes, ever since A Bug's Life and Antz were released in the same year of 1998, these two animation giants have always duked it out by making the best movie for the audiences. So far, Pixar has been most successful, although Dreamworks has its fair share of good movies. Still, these two are without a doubt rivals when it comes to making 3D-animated movies.

This deviation, inspired by Street Fighter X Tekken and Namco x Capcom, shows us characters from each of these animation giants. And boy do they appear to be friends. Now let's see what kind of characters we see here, shall we? I'll tell their names from the year they were released.

Dreamworks has made movies with ants, fairytale creatures, fish, zoo animals, woodland critters, bees, kung fu warriors, monsters, vikings, supervillains, fantasy figures, cavemen, snails, time travellers, aliens, trolls, superheroes, babies and musicians.

Needless to say, each studio have been creative.

NOTE: I didn't include characters from Finding Nemo and Shark Tale because they are.....you know, fish. But I hope you like this regardless. Also, the way Flik and Z stand at opposite towards one another is based upon how the Pixar-Dreamworks rivalry came to be.
