History:

In BW: Shadewing's Inertia Chamber fallen in a kind of animal's cemetry, full of necrophagous animals, between then a lot of crows. Founding the protoform before the Maximals, the Predacons changed the energy signature, turning him into one of them.Scaning the surroundings, the chamber chooses the proform's alternative form: A Crow. Since that day,Shadewing becomes the new Predacon's spy agent.

In TFA: Way before the war, Shadewing was a dangerous criminal, notorius in and out Cybertron.Being finally arrested, is released from jail by Megatron, who believed that his abilities would be very useful in the upcoming war. Since then, he joined the Decepticon's ranks, using his abilities to spoil Autobot's war strategies and running all kind of illegal business to raise funds to afford Decepticon's war efforts, not without taking his share first, what Megatron didn't really minded as much as he continued to perform his job. When the Decepticons where finally defeated,Shadewing managed to escape before being cauch,without knowing and even caring with whatever had happened with his fellows. Back to his life of "freelancer" criminal, making his name once more infamous around the cosmos, some day he starts to hear rumors about the possibility of Megatron still being alive and planning once again founding his empire. Being caught once again, he manages to escape and starts his search for Megatron.His findings ends bringing him to Earth, where he lands in some inhospitable place.There, he got hit by an Allspark fragment, who fuses him with one of the decomposers beings found there, a crow, turning him into a technorganic.Enjoying the new acquired abilities of the new alternative form, he returns searching for Megatron until finding him and rejoining the Decepticon Army.

Personality:

In BW: Loud and somewhat clumsy, uses to be target of other Predacon's jokes. In spite of that, he normally accomplishes his spy missions satisfatorily.Well, almost...

In TFA: Knavish, tricky and devoid of any moral value, it's capable of everything to reach his objectives. Don't give a damn to Decepticon's cause, but knows that Megatron rewards very well a well done job. Provided with a sarcastic sense of humor, likes to have fun
with who he considers stupid(almost everybody) and also likes to inflict psychological violence to get the information he wants from the ones who are not inclined to sell themselves(despites not believing in the existence of such kind of people, since he trusts that "everybody has a price, but some ones are more expensive than others"...).
