Had a old dragon statue that I kinda broke of my sisters, so thought I'd fix it up and re-paint it as Watcher (AkA Spike). Been wanting to try something like this for awhile now, so what do you all think?Not sure on the base, may change it.

Thank you very much, this guy took a while to paint, but was well worth it in the end.
I've got a few more statues that I've got to paint (in fact they're drying from being spray painted right now) on the way to the work table, so keep a eye out for more stuff coming soon.

Is that Figure from "Land od the dragons"? The style is familliar to me but i just don't know why. This Spike is amazing, only miss a small pony on his shoulders or head.
But you should paint ther base too. Did you only paint him or did you some sculpting work with him too?

I don't know if its from something or not. I just know my sister's had if for years.
I was tempted to try and do a small pony on his head, but I've seen a few other dragon statues that I may get and repaint (had such a fun time doing this one)that would look really good with a pony or something added to it.
I mainly just repainted and repaired some bits of him as he kinda took a small plunge off a shelf when I knocked him off... Opps

I think this is the first portrayal of Watcher/Spike I've seen outside of a few pictures of Littlepip conversing with one of his spritebots...and it is magnificent. Excellent job.

Re-building it didn't take too long, about 2 hours or so, but the painting took at a guess about 15 hours or so over a couple of days
