Well.. I liked that one. I did it in order to practice some background and snow effect... But in the end what I didn't liked that much was her lips... They aren't bad.. they aren't good...Her name is Anna, she lives on Canadá and is very happy girl. She was hanging up with her boyfriend, but, ops! I drew some snow storm, so they got go home now.. (I'm evil? >D )

Then she simply turn around and say: "Call me up, hum?" And that's all XD

I'm so laaate commenting T_T Sorry. I just finished mu school project.
You alredy have pretty nice drawing and shading skills, don't you? Guess you only need to apply some color theory there; that's it, to add some of the complementary colors to. For example, you add some greenish shadows to red colors (blue to orange, purple to yellow, ect...). Plus, on the illumination (unless special cases), adding some % of yellow to the light areas and blue to the shadows works pretty well. Hope this helps...

Oh! I'm going to try this! But it's because, all that I've learned about drawing and painting, was by myself.
I've never been in any painting classe or something, I've never read any decent book about it, and that kind of things.. All that i know now came from pure observation and experimentation.
I would like to have some help on learning how to paint and draw.., but I'm alone since I can remember... T__T
I think that's why the support you guys give to me is important ^^

Os lábios sairam ruins mesmo. O problema foi que, ao terminar a pintura, fiquei com um preguiça enorme de mudá-lo. T__T
Mas preferi ignorá-lo e ver só o resto, para não ficar frustrado com o trabalho final.

thank you! At this one, the hand drawing was actually very fast.. (I normally take more than 2 hours or something about it)
Can you bellieve.. her clothes were grey.. but then my girlfriend went at my home and saw the painting.. she was all like... "HOW CAN YOU GIVE HER GREY CLOTHES!! YOU SIMPLY DON'T HAVE ANY STYLE!!"
Then I changed it :3

I love the snow on her! It looks great.
For snow I use the brushes called "StarryGrunge brushes"
But usually they are small and I go over the larger dots with a low opacity brush.
I've never seen snow so I really dont know how it looks.

hehe, Me to, I've never seem snow, but We can guess how do it looks like..
For the snow on her, I drew the white part and then I duplicated the layer, changed the brightness and put some blur.. one or two final adjustments and "voila"!
It was the first time I made snow, so I guess enxt one will be better ^^

Awesome....maybe you should make your snow like you make rain.
Ummmm create a new layer...then make small white dots (dont have to be perfect) every where. Then Give it a Motion Blur changing the angle and wind speed. Then Duplicate it--and add some soft glows with low opacity brush on some of the snow.

I did it with the snows that are more far away from the girl... but I like to paint always, so then I can make it just the way i want to (more precise painting ^^)
