actually, straws do not "suck"
there is no such ability in science to "suck". it is a difference in pressure that causes liquids and gases to ascend. When you begin the "sucking" motions of the mouth, the air pressure drops, and the atmospheric pressure causes your cherry-coke to rise up that straw. Other examples include vacuum cleaners, fish-tank filters, and whores. See? science doesn't suck.
