I drew this last night while watching Ministerio de Tiempo on Netflix. It's just a bit of personal art with no consequence.While I've noticed that I typically depict Ivy in the parts of her story where she is weakest, she became a pretty powerful caster in the middle of her life.
But even with all her power she couldn't make Caesarion's dad stay with her... sad.
Forest-magic relates to writing, so the women need to write the words out to make them work. Alice learned to write in Chinese, but Ivy probably learned a greek script. I'm noticing now she probably wrote in Linear A or early Linear B so this depiction is actually incorrect. :/

In my defense, she's easy to roast.
Essentially, but they need to have perfect handwriting to do so and know about the spell beforehand. Since most of the forest girls were poor (and likely illiterate) humans once, they needed to learn how to write in addition to using magic.
