Love this one. I think the marble floor is actually a nice idea for a change in visual style, maybe I'll give it a try in the next season of 'To the Death' and see how it looks. I would not worry to much about realism, thay did all kind of crazy stuff for those games, like flooding the stage, why not marble

I think the marble floor is unlikely, it would have been sand (to soak up blood and other stuff). The latin word for sand is "arena" (or "harena") from which we get the modern sports word.
