I think JB is the definitive artist for Conan. No other artwork ever looks right to me except maybe Ernie Chan. As for the colors, I try to keep in mind that this is a primitive society. They wouldn't have access to the modern methods of creating dyes that we use today. All they'd have is berries, flowers and types of grass. That would limit their color choices quite a bit.

That's good observation. I see it in how you chose a darker, more desaturated color scheme too. I can't picture Savage Sword taking place in a world of bright rainbows and smiley faces, lol!
