Description: The photo is for me the attempt to preserve summer's glory - by picking my favourite flowers of the garden in summer and putting them in a vase. By then taking a photo of the only "temporary preserver", summer is captured forever through the camera lens.
The blue table on which the tiny vase is standing is a typical old-fashioned British table for teatime in the garden, sitting with some goodies and a cup of tea in the midst of a blooming garden is something one can not miss during the warm days.
Thus the photo is for me the whole summary of summer, with its beautiful flowers and things one can do, and at the same time the sad knowledge that it will not last forever; But when it the time comes, it shines with warmth and beauty.
