Golly, I love this- the way the warm subtle hues of her skin are contrasted with the colder blue tones. The whole image has an aura about it- I love how the figure is illuminated and the texture really adds a depth to the piece: it reminds me of a really old oil painting. I don't know whether it was your intention, but the whole figure is being illuminated or enlightened by some invisible force (I suppose the caption 'in the biblical sense' contributes to the effect.) Overall, very striking and powerful.

this is amazing.. gorgeous - it looks like very very thick, cracked/peeling paint...
this kinda reminds me of a show i recently watched, it was an episode of Showtime's "The L Word" in which there was an art video called "Jesus is in Her" and it depicts a lady fucking Jesus.. but it wasn't rapturous (is that a word? it should be), it was more like.. desperate.. anyways, this makes me think of that, but in a more.. uh.. orgasmic sense ^_^

i know this is forever since we were talking about it, but i just spent some time who i saw the episode with and he says it's on the third disc of the first season.. he can't remember the name either though -_-

So, I've been watching βThe L Word,β and so far I've seen season 1, disk 1. I felt a little strange watching it right at first, kind of like a voyeur watching something that was none of my business, but I got over that quickly and I'm really enjoying the show. I mentioned your comment in the forums, and someone said she agreed with you that βRaptureβ is like something from one of the episodes. I'm taking them in order, and I'm looking forward to disk 3.
