First leather work ever...10 pieces of leather, I got no sewing machine so laces was the only choice to keep them together...

Do you have a grommet setting press?
If not, that is a WHOLE lot of grommets.

Jesus. I think by then I would've just hammered my own forehead and been done with it. Did you do it with a hand kit? I'm using the osbourne kit.

In the past I was using only hammer and some steel rod with circular sharp edge (dunno the name), it's only around 400 holes

You're welcome and yes, I saw your machine - looks fantastic - I have to sew all my shoes by hand - but then as I'm doing 15th century shoes a machine isn't appropriate.
