Reason of death:

-Mu was raised by her step dad when her mom died. Fu, a "giant puppy", which was Mu's best friend, has always been by her side as the presence of her mom. Her step dad never got along with animals of any kind, so Mu kept Fu away from him. On Mu's 16th birthday, she was looking for Fu when her step dad was home. Fu seemed to be resting in Mu's backyard next to the chili pepper garden. Mu's mom loved the smell of chili peppers and their unique effect of creating a mixture of taste. As Mu approaches Fu, her step dad saw Fu and was terrified. He immediately demanded Mu to move with him to another place, leaving Fu behind. Mu has been in depression since the day they moved... Fu has been the most valued creature in Mu's world since her mom's death. Mu's depression has been lasting for years and it finally came to an ending ... Mu couldn't live without the presence of her puppy... She then raised a garden of chili peppers again, she painted the chili pepper garden with Fu in between them. She lied down next to the chili pepper garden with her painting, and brush tools. She died due to depression and she wanted to see Fu and her mom again in heaven.

Reason being a tree spirit:

-By being a tree spirit, hopefully Mu will meet Fu again and let him rest by her.
