"You aim to wound me with those words, Julian," answered Slav, calmly, "but you forget that a dog is a far more loyal companion than you ever were.  If I'd had a dog for an advisor instead of you, the war might have been won."

Julian's eyes flashed and he grabbed for his blade.  "They called you the Vampire King, strongest of us all, yet you died so quickly in that war and without even a struggle.  Immortality!  Let's see how immortal you are now, King of Dogs!"

Thanks so much!  uvu  I've been away from a real pencil for so long I was worried it wouldn't come out as I'd imagined, hehe.

He.... could be, actually... when I really think about it...  xD  Oh gosh now I'll never be able to unthink it.

I think it was actually your picture of Garret titled "Wolf King" that inspired me... aargh, I'm so unoriginal "OTL

No no, it came out perfectly! He has such a lovely, noble profile, he really does...I love it. You seem to get better and better at drawing with every art piece.

....You should totally do a drawing with them both together, just staring at each other with identically perked eyebrows.. I'd try 3D it, but I'm focusing on doing a piece with Garret's wife at the moment! She's gonna be a strooooong lady...BEEEFCAAAAAAKE! xD

Imitation's the sincerest form of flattery or some crap like that! I don't mind, I think it's awesome that my art can inspire -anyone-, so...It's all good!! <3

Oh gosh, thank you so much!  I really enjoy drawing Slav... especially since his profile is a bit different from most of my other characters'.  In addition from keeping the dreaded cookie-cutter character template syndrome away and providing easy identification, it's also somehow a whole lot of fun. xD

I'm really glad I do seem to be getting better, though!  I've been trying to practice, especially with Slav since he's a steady favourite of mine.  I just wish I didn't have to neglect my writing so much when I'm focusing on drawings ahahaha I don't even know what Slav's storyline is anymore lol it diverged into a pseudo-alternate universe when Violet came into the picture and now I'm so confused as to his timeline and story outlines what are you

... YES.  I SHALL DO THE THING.  I might do the thing tonight, actually, because even though I probably should be doing some reading for university I'm not sure I'll feel like doing all of it right now this moment.  Garret's wife is a damn sexy strong lady and I'm totes looking forward to ogling that virtual photograph
