Nice colours and concept! But I would care a bit more about the basic anatomy. The skull seems to be undefined beneath the hair, it's kind of strange. It would help to make sure the shape of the head works before painting the hair. And don'T be afraid of sharp edges to define features like the nose

You should totally finish this with some more final looking darker darks where it's called for cause thise is awesome. Really digging your style!

I'll probably just completely redo it since my strategy for coloring has been completely revamped! I will definitely put more effort into the next round since it seems to be such a big hit

You're very welcome. I am so the same way as you on that. There are a lot of pieces I've started that I'd like to finish, but my technique has changed so much I know it wouldn't look right unless I just started over again
