Description Nerf Maverick REV-6 WWII Paint Modification. I was inspired by some of the other imaginative paint modifications out there and decided to give it a go. I did a three gun series of these, you can see the rest in my gallery.

just an opinion, if this is modeled after a WW2 style gun, then i might have looked better if u would have added some wood texture. like on the handle, u could have made it look like wood, but otherwise well done

I've been through your entire gallery. I've got to say — you have really got a talent for this. I've never seen the kind of attention to detail in any other Nerf gun modifications. Your guns are top notch. Would you be interested in some commissioned work? It'd be cool to have an entire collection done by you.

Keep it up meandmunch. Perfection is in the details.

Thanks very much for you compliments. I'm always open to suggestions and I suppose if someone wanted something unique I don't see why not. I've basically already run the gamut of things I can do with the Nerf Guns. I have something special planned for a Nerf "Radioactive Glowing" Raider but after that I'm not sure where I'm going.

Whats the paint process. How do you get the scratched paint effect?

After taking it apart I coated it with black, then dry brushed silver onto it until it gets that nickel look.

Wow, this would make an exelent model for my shotgun revolver sidearm. Very nice work with the paint job on all three!!

Again far better than the original! (We have four of these at my house.) Great!
