Just a little photoshoot my friend Tearatone and I did this Jan in Lake Tahoe. He was determined to find snow, and once we did, we had to do a return trip for the sake of steampunk. It just needed to be done.
The rifle is a design of mine, made in a few days before NovaCon in March 2011. Because of the insanity of the making process and me just spitballing leftover materials together, this lovely is named "The Jerry-rig." Made from plywood, pvc, random plastic bits, a faux leather strap, metal rings, some screws, a metal clip, varnish, spray paint, and polyurethane. It was a fun exercise, I have some new designs that I'd love to make, just gotta make some time in between work and commissions, haha.

Edit: Thank you everyone for you kind (and flattering) compliments! This really was a fun photoshoot and I couldn't be more pleased with how the pictures turned out. BTW, to those who care, this pic may have been better with a pith helmet, I just can't stand them most of the time, haha! Besides, I love my ugly fishing hat XD
