No it's good XD I only realised because with a close view you can see the rough outlines on the fingers and also I thought the hand shadows were odd since on the background hand it doesn't show the shadow of the hand in the foreground XD

Yer.. the problem was.. the placements off. The hand thats infront was actually behind the hand its infront of... so it looks a tad odd.

I like the scared act you pulled off, and I like you using yourself as both models.. it gives off the feel of being afraid to believe in yourself or that you're your own enemy. In my eyes at least xD
I'll have to agree the right image was a bit too over the top, if you made it more subtle I think it would have had a bigger effect but either way it was well done.

And aye, I kindoff agree with the over-the-top expression, it was intentional... But after reading a few comments I started to see how it would be better with a lessoverthetop expression

This image is a great encapsulated story. The use of the same model makes it that much more interesting. However, the technical execution leaves a fair bit to be desired. I know it's hard to work with yourself as the model, and I know that it's hard to put the same model in the frame twice, especially with eye-contact.
Nonetheless, taking more shots should help: you'll have several from which to choose during editing. The knife should definitely be in focus and unblurred. You have some good light levels in this image, but it's very washed out. I'd recommend doing some post-processing to pop the shapes and colours better, and really emphasize the details and effects that you want to communicate to the viewer.

I'm finding comments like "eat more cake" fairly annoying.
One thing i don't get, its perfectly acceptable tot ell a skinny guy to eat more cake, but its offensive to tell a fat person to eat less?
