Description Been biking to work and around the city for the last few days. On my way home from downtown I encountered really steep hills that I couldn't bike up for the life of me. Even walking felt like I was lunging just to get anywhere.

Oh and I got a really toasty sunburn.

Enjoy!

I have had this exact experience. You totally nailed it. I used to bike to and from work, and there was two killer hills that always tried to do me in, and by the time I got to work and climbed off my bike, I'd have to stagger up tot he door to start work. I was concerned my coworkers were going to think I was drunk.

Yeah I don't have any heavy-duty hills between work and home, but there are these long drawn out slopes that seem to go on for ever. I have to keep stretching through out my shift so none of my muscles tighten up and spazz out. ;A;

I think the long drawn out ones are worse for me. I can sprint, but I have no stamina. of my two hills, one's super sharp but not too terribly long, which just takes some gear shifting to handle. The other is a twenty minute long gradual incline, and that one makes me ache and rubbery, especially because my work is right at the top of it, so there's no more riding after it to ease out my legs again.

Yeah, same problem as well. There's the ridiculous ones that go OVER your glasses, and then there's buying a $400 pair of prescription sunglasses. Or contacts. ._.;

Yeah those would be useful. I hear from some people they can be annoying because you'll be in a well-lit indoor area which isn't that bad on the eyes but the glasses stay at this weird transition area so it's actually harder to see. >:-0
