So, I've noticed something symbolic about this. People have commented, like, on the possible comic covers you uploaded earlier that red represents Blank and blue represents Shale. And, on Blank's head, there are two wire thingies. One is red and one is blue. The blue is sturdily latched in Blank's head, which represents Shale, who is sane (I think). The other wire, the red one, that is broken and crooked represents Blank. Unhinged. Twisted. Insane.
I love this concept so much. I've always wanted to do a comic about rats in a laboratory, but you beat me to it ^^'. Besides, I think yours is already better than any I could have thought up. (although I did have an epic concept but sort of gave up on it.)

despite the fact that this comic is actually something I must complete to finish my college course and I have stated several time that this is currently more important than my other projects and nothing is dropped unless I myself have said I am dropping it.

Yeah, to get that good resolution in a print you need huge images. In my Digital Media class at school we always work on canvases about 3,000 pixels across or so.

Yes, that's exactly what we learn.
But I hate it when I pull up a Photoshop drawing and work on it a bunch only to realize that somehow the dpi got set to 72. D: And then I either have to re-do or just accept that it's a low-res for printing.

flash to do the boxes and lineart and flat colours
photoshop for the backgrounds
the reason I use flash, is because its a vector program so the images can be made bigger if i wanted to rehash them for posters and stuff :3
