Description
back and front of a business card I had to design for collegedrawn with a mouse using a mac computer (photoshop and flash)
*the text of the contact details varies because I advent quite finished planning that part.
any suggestions?
I was thinking of redoing the detailed phoenix with my tablet because I can't draw as good with a mouse
these will be tiny when printed though as they are normal business card size.
I wanted to show my skills a little since these would have to catch someones eye.

It might be a little better if "Flighty" was easier to read, but otherwise I really like it. So you painted the realistic phoenix with the mouse too? It looks fantastic. I love the colours.

well tat text doubles as a logo so i was going more more aesthetic than clarity.
I wanted a handwritten text because I did'nt want to have it too corporate bleh
at least my teacher has no complaints and he complains about that's sort of thing a lot
but we shall see when i get a tester printed on weather i should change it or not
since I can't afford to be to precious with this , but I'll take it in to consideration if i do have more time

I actually really love how 'Flighty' looks on this business card. It makes it more personal and creative in contrast to the boring normal business cards.

I see. Well, I figure for advertising it's always good to be sure someone can instantly read your text, in case they just glimpse it. But the artistic feel is also good.

I love how the card seems to burn where the Phoenix is. Also, as for redrawing the Phoenix, I think it looks beautiful. You don't need to redraw it at all!

humm i think the embers on the part with the phoenix should be a bit bigger/brighter, especially since they will be small. and i like the font for the contact info on the side without the phoenix better. it looks cleaner, sleeker and more professional to me. of and maybe add a tinge of brown/orange where the paper is burned, since paper turns that color in parts when it is burned. o3o i really like the flighty designs and the little bird, and the colored circles are nifty. (the little bird kinda reminds me of something from raymon for some reason .3. ) you have a good color scheme, and it definitely seems like the kind of thing i would want to buy if i had to get business cards o3o keep up the good work flighty *highfive*

This is fantastic!! I REALLY love what you did with the burnt paper effect. It looks awesome! If you handed me this card It would definitely capture my attention. I like the more realistic phoenix on the left but I do agree with you that a little touching up with a tablet wouldn't hurt C: Computer mouse = impossible sometimes xP I like the way you wrote "Flighty" too!! :'D

This very good, but if I were you, I'd remake the phoenix with your tablet if you can do it better. This is because the business card is the first show of your work that the person gets if you hand it out (Most often). So the work on it really has to be top notch. Not that I'm saying that this work isn't good, just, if you can do better, do it (:

it really is done with a mouse albeit not as good as my tablet work.
that's the reason I said I would re do it at home with my tablet
because I don't like this one as much since I'm not as good with a mouse
