I don't think that just because it's in MS paint means it's able to be made into a base. After all, people doing that is what she has problems with the most.

This is an excellent compromise. At first you would think the two designs would create a very random and messy pattern but the way you combined the two is amazing. The mask connecting to the ears and back was my favorite part on the second design, but the way it connects to the belly and chest is quite eye catching. The black fur around the paws and tail also adds that finished look. The eye pops out quite nicely against the black and all the colours contrast nicely. I think you have a winning design here, and although it might be a little more time consuming to draw it's worth it. Awesome job

Hm, not bad. Very interesting way to combine both the designs. The combination itself ties together rather well. The under belly marking look a little funny, but maybe that's just me. I ain't no critique.
Otherwise it looks fine.
