Very nice, Flighty! Though I must say I've never actually watched Digimon, and I'm much more of a PokΓ©mon nerd myself. However I did promise someone years ago that when the new dub came out I'd give it a shot. I haven't seen an episode of the show yet.

I only saw a few episodes of it as a kid you see.
and I think I watched most of season 1 but only saw about 3 episodes of tamers and then nothing...
but honestly you should give it a watch I think you'll be surprised! though I'm preferring season 1 in sub digimon tamers has a good dub and its really good it has a great storyline!
you should watch tamers if you watch any! it has a separate storyline from season 1 and 2 as well so you don't need to have really watched any episodes of that

I'm a HUGE Pokemon fan, but I'm also a Digimon fan...needless to say, the TV show (pokemon I mean) really didn't do well, only thing I enjoyed were the movies really (and the 1st episode), Digimon was a far better TV show. The games, I think Pokemon really surpass though...I dunno, I like them both...

I like watching things in their original language. It seems to make more sense that way.
It's almost as fun as watching movies in other languages. I nearly died laughing watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in French XD

but now that I have a brain I think i prefer digimon, since pokemons TV series has become repetitive and digimon seems to at least try different things plus the story telling is just more interesting and I get attached to characters easier
