Alyssia is an android who was created by a lonely roboticist within the Spiral Galaxy. She was based on a charizard, a fictional species from the Pokemon series. Alyssia has level three self-aware A.I., as well as immense strength and the ability to fly. At one point in time, Alyssia befriended a homeless skrainguss, an alien species that are known for using and fixing robots that resemble balls of tentacles, and offered to let it stay in her body, but only if it would repair her when she was damaged. The alien agreed, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
