Took a while for the color tweaks, but I think I got it going. Hope you like.

Actually, I like the dark colours - they give the fractal a nice subtlety and make it more atmospheric, somehow. The shapes are great too; I have no idea how you managed this using just Spherical.

Lovely work. I really like the structure you've achieved.
Personally, I think the coloring is good, but a bit dark. Increasing the brightness a slight bit might improve that without blowing out the whole fractal.
