There are quite a few contests that I'm currently interested in, and this was one of the first ones to grab my attention. So, here's my first (and possibly only) entry into her contest.

I thought about the purple theme and saw the amethyst heart pendant... and was partially inspired by *alchemymeg 's [link] All those strands of seed beads make me want to cry... so I decided to do them myself. Yah, I'm a little bit of a masochist. The end result is very pretty, I think.

FYI - There are 6 stands to this necklace, and they're braided in groups of 2, in case you can't tell from the photograph.
