New concept for the UP T. rex. I gave her a more up to date feather coverage, a caruncled head, and played with the pattern so it wasn't so cut-and-paste sparrow. I also gave her more padding on the feet; she's a predator, so she needs to be able to move quietly. I gave her the caruncled head because it's a feature often seen in modern day birds that engage in face biting as a part of territorial fights. I think we do have T. rex skulls that seem to show teeth marks of other Tyrannosaurus' that have healed, so it's well within the realm of possibility that they also engaged in face biting behaviors.
