Hey, thanks for all the great feedback so far. And fudgewarpaint, the way i do my vectors is actually pretty simple, but time consuming. I just draft down a rough draft of the pose on paper, and then i just start in illustrator. i don't scan or trace any exisiting images, i just imagine them. my works all consist of god knows how many lines and curves, and at the minimum 12 layers, usually around 26 or so however. Each for various objects, shades, hair, eyes, etc. I'm working on an illustration that at the moment already has over 30 layers, I'll be posting it when done. other then that, i guess i can't really say which way to draw best. i started out drawing comics, which is noticable in much of my shading.

I've just submitted my first wallpaper and so I was surfing the female section just to get an idea of the kind of stuff other people submit and I saw this and it was so similar to what I'd just done but also very different and I liked it so decided to come look. I like it a lot but what I really wanted to ask was just how do you do vectors because I love the way they look but haven't got a clue how to create one.
