Description
When I saw the Splice contest I knew I has to draw something for it, ffffff I love monster men so muuuuuch~Since the original character design from the movie was a blend of beauty and grotesque I kinda wanted to keep with that theme, but of course I had to draw a dude.
The story that came to mind while I was designing this guy was that the point of the experiment was to make a human with echolocation skills (which if you google there was a blind boy who could!) but things rarely work out as planned.
So we have a human/bat DNA mixer~
100% traditional just Copics and pencil.

This is impressive. I really admire people who use traditional media, and so well too, because it seems like a lot of deviations are digital.

I've seen stunning traditional art, and I especially love works with Copic markers. There was one that I saw that I swear looked digital, but it turned out to be traditional.
I'd like to use Copic markers as well, but I'm still learning.

Very cool! I love his bat side, it's rather creative with the multiple eyes, earrings, and such. And his expression on both sides is priceless! It's even more impressive considering its all traditionally drawn and colored! ^_^ Very cool, indeed.

When I look at your art-- how to describe it?-- It makes me stop and I become filled with this peace of mind. I know I'm looking at someone who is very dedicated to their craft. It's obvious that you're thinking with every line and stroke of the brush (tip pen).
I observe your work with a mix of admiration and envy, yet I never leave your page feeling bittersweet. Stylish and oozing with great technical knowledge, your art speaks to me on the deepest of levels (anime or no).
