Hot damn, the time you spent really shows. The textures also work really well with the clothing and add such a great juxtaposition to his physical colour scheme. Seems very arachnid-like.

Two months has paid off; this has probably got to be one of your best pieces, in my opinion. I've read through comments people have left saying your newer work lacks detail, but just look at this!

Oh yeah, detail takes a lot of love and patience. But your less detailed work is just as good. Complex detail does not equal good art. Sometimes it can be too much, and I think you know what a good balance is.

Thanks, yeah I think people think more lines=more detail=better but it's really a balancing act, like just having lots of lines doesnt make you a better artist, knowing where to place the lines to maximize their potential on the other hand...

I had issues with his feet because his legs and feet kinda taper weird? So I kept wanting to make them bigger to compensate but they're supposed to be all teeny pointy lol, so I'm glad you liked~
