Oh. Wow. I'm all out of breath here. Listening to this song [link] while looking at the picture spawned this really epic feeling which is spreading all over my body. Well, it would've been epic anyway, but the song adds quite nicely to it D:
I love the mood in the picture and the motion. His pose feels powerful (almost as powerful as V6) and the colours (simple as they are) are all frickin ace and well I haven't got words to describe it but I love it. So there.

B-e-a-utiful, is the light coming out of his eye? Or hitting it? And did you use Corel Painter for this, or just Photoshop? Great work, you can really see the motion, and colour is light and soft, looks perfect with the black and white

I think Xmen could be done in manga really well, like when Nihei took on Wolverine? Forget about it, AWESOME. But the artists they have for their OEL XMen manga don't really do anything for me, esp the shoujo one. Which makes me sad

Huh. I haven't seen that (Wolverine, I mean). I'd seen a few previews of the shoujo artist's work and yeah, they don't jump off the page at me, but I'm still holding out a teensy bit 'a hope for it to be good.
'course, I've seen/read few OELs that imho have topped Dramacon, My Cat Loki and (not to sound like a kiss ass) RePlay.

Yeah, I'm not really familiar with Nate aside from knowing who he is. I love the X-Men, but the only comics that I've really read are either primarily in the Ultimate universe or from the recent story arcs (Civil War etc). Yeah, I'm lame.

No he wasn't in the movies. He had a series in the mid to late 90s but it was canned pretty fast lol~
