Description
Imagine Elsa lives in a primitive world where electricity isn't used, because the people are of a simpler time and find such things terrifying, and think of them as witchcraft. But Elsa was born with the power of electricity in her veins and thinks she can put it to go use. When she reveals her power, however, everyone is terrified, forcing Elsa to flee to the mountains in the hopes that she can still somehow show them how backwards their little world is without electricity within it:
Let It Spark:
Alone up here in the mountains it’s clear
There’s no place for me down there
In that primeval civilisation
No room for me anywhere
The wind powers sails and candles light night outside
But I can’t hold this back, it’s too late, I have tried
Now they’re all scared
Called me a witch
Though my coronation went without a hitch
They changed their views
When I made my mark
And now it’s dark
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
Can’t face that life anymore
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
Turn and electrify the door
Can’t they see we’d be better off this way?
Turn the voltage up
The static never bothered me anyway
It’s strange how we’ve always been a backward little town
And now I’m up here with this power I am never coming down
I’ll show them all what I can do
Send ten thousand volts all the way through
Light up the town
Power everything
And sing
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
There’s no need to fear at all
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
All it can do is beautiful
Here I stand and I plan to stay
Turn the voltage up
If I send power down then soon they all will see
The wonders that can happen all because of electricity
How much better it is than all we’ve done so far
And when that moment comes I’ll rise just like a star
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
The age of wattage about to dawn
Let It Spark
Let It Spark
The girl who lived in the past is gone
The future’s bright lit up like Christmas Day
Turn the voltage up
The static never bothered me anyway
