Yes, I am finally going to do this! After years and years (and years) of planning, I am going to finish the sequel I once started to Love in the Time of Poison, arguably my best and favourite, fanfic!

I highly recommend everyone reads Love in the Time of Poison before you start this one because, well, it doesn’t make sense not to. I posted it on Fanpop long before I even discovered Deviantart but it’s easy to find on Google, or you can follow the link to the Prologue here: www.fanpop.com/clubs/disney-cr…, tap the name into the Search box and all the parts are there. I apologise for the fact that all the parts aren’t listed in chronological order – they used to be but I think Fanpop’s done some update or something because they’re out of order now, but I can assure you they are all there.

The other thing is, as I’ve said before, please ignore the fact that Belle and Clopin’s daughter is played by the little girl from Hunchback of Notre Dame and named Angelique, because I’ve since changed my mind about that. She will now be played by Melody. However, I can’t work out how to edit that now, so you’ll just have to imagine her as Melody in that last part.

Finally, before we get onto the trailer, that fanfic probably isn’t suitable for anyone under the age of twelve because some quite dark stuff happens in it. I put Belle through quite a lot in it and made Frollo a really nasty piece of work, so just a warning, if it was an actual film, it’d be rated 12.

Twelve years have passed since the events of Love in the Time of Poison, and Belle and her family have settled comfortably in the Court of Miracles. When a travelling circus comes to Paris, Belle thinks little of it, despite Clopin’s reservations about the circus owner. But when the enigmatic and devious Sarouche starts to remind Belle too much of someone she’d rather forget, it isn’t long before she finds herself caught up in a race to return Notre Dame’s most beloved bell and rescue her daughter from a web of deceit and terror...
