-Story-

Geno, deciding to just screw it and try something without Sans, enters the timeline, grabbing Chara's soul before dumping them in the save screen to rot, Chara confused and left literally in the dark, then meets Frisk who starts a tough conversation between Chara and Frisk

Geno then goes to erase the world as he absorbs part of Chara's soul, but he notices doing this actually stabilizes him, allowing him to reset [even if this results in him needing to absorb more of the soul.]
With this power he goes to Asgore, using his immense knowledge of the world due to the resets to get Asgore to give him the thrown [this could also involve Geno mentioning how he already got the other human souls in Aftertale? But I hate that theory and part of the AU so idk]

Geno, as new ruling king of the underground, begins a complete overhaul of the underground, getting Papyrus in the guard, putting Sans as his second in command, and generally upping security and training, along with taking away priority from getting to the surface, instead focusing on expanding the underground and making it a better home.

So I kinda lost ownership of AfterShift :[
But it inspired me to actually fuckin work on the AU ironically so uh, silver lining ig?
