I Will Put Chocolate in the curry turns out it will balance the spices, all of you use normal sweet chocolate no wonder it tastes weird, next time use bitter to the author Medli1234

Chocolate chips are ok, but DON"T use cocoa powder!!! It makes the consistensy of the curry all blegh...(yeah... couldn't think of the right word to use to describe it's horribleness)

I've put chocolate in chili before. But whatever you do, DON'T put milk chocolate in there. Use dark chocolate.

Milk chocolate: good for eating, not for cooking

what did it taste like?

It just added too much sweetness to the chili. The chocolate flavor itself wasn't too strong, very subtle, but you could taste the sweetness. It clashed horribly with the chili seasonings. I didn't even add that much chocolate and I could taste the sugar. When I used dark chocolate, the flavor was much smoother without the overwhelming sweetness.
