Yep, it's a variation of firepoi using methylated spirits and steel wool which disintergrates and flies everywhere. Not the safest of poi techniques, but certainly eye-catching.

OH! What is this? This is so wow... speechless...me.. who live in country with no entertainment lol, never saw something like this before.. did you add something with photoshop or it's just a photo of something unbelievbe awesome?

Oh, I wish you could see this live... it's so spectacular. Have you never seen firepoi dancing? Do yourself a favour and look it up online. It's one of the best things I've done in a long long time other than my sword and quarterstaff training.
This link - [link] - is a more sedate version of the same idea, except no trailing sparks. I did it in my front yard. That photo however was on a beach. People get together in the evenings in summer, form a circle of candles and flames and whoever wants to dance, justs gets up and does their thing to the sound of the drums.
