In all the madness on the canvas, from the scratchings, to the (swear-to-God) moving hair-horns, the only center of Calm is in the face, but we are met with a slight, condescending scowl and those blank, blank eyes, and so we know, there will be no comfort in this piece. I am bowled over by how powerful this image is, enough to make me wish to change a few things about my life, and where I am headed. (nervous smile)
