digital paintingCS5 + Intuos 4 tablet
my first finished attempt in painting a whole figure digitally, with a costume, and in some interesting pose.
reference pic of the girl didn't have legs so I had to invent them, as well as I had to change the angle the way she's sitting in order to fit my vision. (sorry 'bout my english pls.)

This is amazingly abstract in such a simple way The thing that makes this picture the most interesting, besides the incredible digital painting, is that pose you chose for the character. And the huge, what appears to be, hat, don't really know what it is but the shading and coloring is perfect as well with the rest of the picture.
The shoes are even intriguing, I've never seen any like them before, very original. The pants don't really match the theme but I think that's also what adds to make this picture so interesting to look at. I'm really amazed by the talent here, awesome job.

Great work and even fashionable! I would like to note, from a biological perspective, that the lines intertwining on the top of her spine should have trouble interjecting in her skin so well because the vertebrae are in the way (unless that loopy metal line IS apart of he sine, ahah abstract is your forte!) Nice work- the skin could be more detailed, because the metal gadget on her head seems awkwardly more detailed than the skin and even pants. Maybe use some skin textures or more color variation on the skin?
