Description
Human form of Kyuubi no Kitsune. The junihitoe (tweleve layered kimono of heian's period) pattern is inspired from washi's paper pattern. I don't think at that time they use those kind of pattern for junihitoe.*Final artwork for my graduation*

Beautiful work ^_^ I was a bit thrown because at first I thought this was a digital piece, mainly because of how even and flat the colors are on the flowers at the bottom, but then I saw it was done traditionally. Her face is so calm and inviting, and I like that; its a true trademark of the female kitsune. I'm also a fan of Heian's court dress and I love that she's clothed in the beautiful robes. Great job all around!

I made this piece a favorite because I thought the colors were nice and the subject matter (kitsune) is a good one. The composition is good as well and the woman appears sly to me much like a kitsune would. Good work.
