This was fanart I'd done for pretty much based on her fanfiction Redemption . :3Now, I was wanting to wait until I had this colored, but guess who's photoshop died a few days ago? MINE. >w< I'm ridiculously pissed about that. That was an official copy put on the computer by the freaking official disc. Rawrawrawr.
Anyway, I never put this up before because I didn't have my scanner. D: I had actually forgotten I'd had it, so when I finally did get my scanner... ahaha... D|
Yeah, it was going to be all fancy and have Bakura's wings lightly brushed in somewhere behind him. But no~ That will have to wait for color. TT___TT
Also, I dislike their faces and their feet. And no, Bakura's face isn't massive -- that is Ryou's bangs there. I don't think I actually drew where his face ends. xD And... ugh.
This was inspired by the conversation the two had about toads and princes. I don't remember what chapter it was for, but.
Ugh, I haven't read that fic in so long. D: I'm not up-kept... Shame on me!
(It's not set for mature, because there's no naughty bits or even a buttcrack. >__>; )

I like their facial expressions, they match thier respective personalities. I also love how serene Ryou's body language is. Bakura's feet are excellent, but Ryou seems to be missing his left ankle. I also think that Bakura's left forearm arm would look more realistically foreshortened had you moved his upper arm in towards him more. Last bit of critique:...xD; The placement of Bakura's right hand seems a bit inappropriate for younger viewers. There's nothing wrong with it technically, it just...makes me blush if I put too much thought into it.
I can't wait to see this colored. D: I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the sake of your photoshop! Knowing you, you're going to turn this already intriguing lineart into something thrice as amazing with color and depth. I'm happy to see more of your work, even if it is older.♥
