Balanced.His soul is salt.
He toes the indefinable line
between sand and shore,
face upturned,
arms outstretched,
a dancer made of plasma.
Salt-soul trickles from the corners
of his lips and eyes,
dripping
into the water flowing over his feet.
Oil slick liquid coats his inner ears,
rushing to his blood.
Leaking from the laceholes
in his skin,
oil slick liquid (blood)
stains his watery smile
and salt-saliva.
Salt(soul)blood
anchors him to the beach,
balanced.
