Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao aka Death.

Cute and incident looking, if angered or frustrated they both can become your worst nightmare.

They both live in a graveyard in the digital world along with Tikal the Ecidna. Death brings every now and then new chao for Tikal to take care of. The ghost chao stay there until they are ready to actually go to chao heaven/afterlife. Other chao are like vampire, werewolf, zombie, and ect, chao but are very very friendly. But a disease (.Exe) sweeps through the digital graveyard and infects the chao (ghost or not). It turns the chao into code hungry glitches and if they manage to get you, you yourself would be turned into a code hungry glitch and if there are too many glitches, it can destroy the entire matrix or turn it into a living nightmare. She then helps protect the non-infected chao so the matrix won't be destroyed. Death also tries to help by finding ways to cure the infected chao.

Tikal, Cream, and Cheese are also a few rare characters that don't have a control bracelet.
