Not sure if I told you this before but I have a pond on my land and I go down to it every summer and the multi colored dragonflies land on me every year as if to say hi!! Its so awesome and they are not afraid they are more inquisitive than anything.....

That is so cool! Dragonflies are my favorite creature that is real. Dragons are my favorite unreal creature. I love how dragonflies will set down on you and just sit. I love the intricate delicateness of their wings. The many colours they come in. I think the Green Darner is my favorite. Although the Blue Bottles bring back so many memories of when I was little.
OMG! You said you have a pond on your land! I just clued into that!! That is so awesome! I always wanted a little place in the woods near a stream or a pond!

Yes it so cool too! I stocked it with polliwogs like 10 years ago and the bulls keep coming back every year!!! And then I worked the bed out for like two years and cleared all the branches and thick weeds so things could oxygenate for the fish and froggies!!! Yah its pretty cool and its really good size too....about 5 to 600 yards around. The deer come to drink and the muskrats swim around looking for the fishies!!!

Oh that sounds so wonderful! Like a dream! I grew up around a lake and miss it so much. We went to the cottage every weekend from April til end of Oct. The day school let out, we left and didn't come back til it started again. And we would go in the winter! that was awesome!
Your pond sounds lovely. I have a little puddle. It's about 4' x 2' and 18" deep.
