A little back story:
15 years after eeveelution squad, pearl invited all the old members for an anniversary celebration that would last for a month. They took all their families. When they all got together, Sapphire was bored so bored. She forgot to bring her book and she already read the comic her twin brother, Storm, brought. She tried to hang out with some of her relatives, but her cousins Rosa, Daisy, and Lily were in the garden with her aunt leaf and uncle flare, her other cousin Cindy was haggling out with her best friend Asteria (Sylvia's adopted daughter), her big sister Sunshine was at the store with her mom, her younger sister Snowflake was taking a nap, and she doesn't want to hang out with the big idiot that she calls a twin brother. All that was left was Black and Pearls kids, Shade and Luna. Luna was helping her mom cook, so Sapphire started to talk to Shade. They became friends imdently, and had alot in common. They got along pretty well and found out they had the same parenting issues. Speed was never home that much since he became a scientist, while Pearl was always running a big business. They both started hanged out for the rest of the trip. After a while, they both started to feel weird around each other, but didn't know why. One day, when they were alone hanging out in Sapphires room, Shade kissed Sapphire. They were both surprised, but she kissed him, leading them to get too distracted to notice that sunshine walked into the room to look for her red ribbon. She then saw them and her face turned red, and Sapphire and Shade both finally noticed her. Of course they were so embarrassed, but sunshine had alot on her mind when they were trying to make up an excuse for kissing. She was happy that here sister found some mon that she could be with, but she was worried on what her dad and black think. Both of them were a bit of overprotective dads (especially speed). One time, some men gave Sapphire a rose and speed threatened him that if he see his daughter again, he would break every bone in that mons body. If all of that fuss was over a rose, she couldn't imagine what he would do to Shade. This was also bad because Speed and Black finally felt more comfortable in each other presence and became friends again. This how ever could break the friend ship, since black would never let any mon threaten his son.
