                Cryocite is an ice blue crystalline mineral. It gives off a slight mist, illuminated by a slight, blue glow. It tends to grow in large chunks, and forms massive veins. It is typically found in polar regions with a history of volcanic activity.

                Cryocite is best considered the inverse of Pyrocite. This crystal sucks in energy, and outputs freezing temperatures. The more energy fed into a Cryocite Crystal, the more Cold Energy it produces. Because of this, any device that uses Cryocite must be made from materials resistant, or immune, to the cold. Caution must be taken when handling Cryocite, as prolonged exposure to bare skin can cause frost bite.

Uses:

                Due to its properties, Cryocite is often used in colling systems, refrigeration systems, and ice-based weaponry. When used in weaponry, it serves to give the item a freezing energy. When installed properly it can turn a regular blaster into a powerful freeze ray. When used in mech armor, it has been known to allow the user to generate, and manipulate ice constructs. However, it should be noted that this is not directly tied to the crystal, but how the armor channels the crystal’s power. When used in cooling/refrigeration systems, the crystal serves as a heat sink. Sucking in any heat near it, and replacing it with cold.
