Done in permanent marker (fine and ultrafine point) and crayon.
You know, I really hate Valentine's Day. Not because I'm bitter and alone (I'm engaged, actually), but because I don't feel that it's right to make love obligatory for one day a year. If you really love someone, you should appreciate them all year round, not just one day in the middle of February. It's not right.
On the other hand, I do LOVE red. At least this cheesy, superficial holiday gives me an excuse to use a red/pink/light purple color scheme ^^
Oh, and if you're thinking that Hinata looks a little chubbier than usual, it's not just you; this is my "chibi" style so everything's a little rounder than necessary. Tell me what you think of it (I think they're cute like this, personally).

I loved doing this picture ^^ It was so much fun doing something cute-sy amidst finishing up a bunch of angsty stuff. Plus, I haven't drawn anything chibi-fied since about 2001, so that was fun.
And, yes, I love the colors, too; red is one of my absolute favorites (especially if it's a deep, blood/crimson).

I've had the DA account for awhile now (since 2006, at least), actually. I didn't know that YOU were on here, though. Come to think of it...you DID mention it once, didn't you...? Hmm...
I'm glad you like the pic ^^ It actually came from an old sketch of mine that I finally got around to putting down on drawing paper (it was a random scribble in a notebook until the other day). I didn't think of the color scheme until I'd outlined it, but I like the overall V-day effect.
And everyone seems to agree with my assessment of V-day.
Hey, have you ever noticed that the initials of "Valentine's Day" are "VD"? Kinda ironic, really...

His hair is red b/c I'm going for a Valentine's Day color scheme. If you look closely, you'll notice that Hinata's hair is actually a light purple instead of dark blue.
