Why does my every attempt to draw more realistic fail?? >_<' I seriously don't know... ;_;'

Anyway, this is SUPPOSED to be Conor Broekhart, 9 years old from Eoin Colfer's book "Airman". xD About the time (SPOILER!) when he rescued the princess. x3 I originally wanted to draw that scene, but drawing it in manga style would be probably a waste, since not everyone who likes Airman likes manga too, right? ._. And since after starting to draw that I felt, that I won't be able to finish it -> I decided to draw Conor alone for now... ;3;' I hope I will draw that picture someday, I really want to... ;___;'''
