I love Sephiroth. He's a great character. And I've always thought his final form was BADASS, not to mention the kick ass music theme and the ultimate awesomeness of his Super Nova spell. Ah, the good old days... : PThere is not enough art of this form of him, so here it is, Safer Sephiroth! *One Winged Angel song plays in the background at the moment* ( :
In this picture, I really spent a lot of time on his wings. I didn't want to rush the picture. I also love his menacing expression.

This is quite beautiful. I like the background, the golden halos, and especially the details on (all of) the wings and the floating feathers. Keep up the good work.
By the way, did you know that "Safer" was a mistranslation? I for one can't tell if Sephiroth is "safer" than anything else. The intended name was "Seraph," in reference to the Seraphim - in classical angelology, the Seraphim were angels of the highest order, depicted as having six wings and standing in the presence of God. You can see the parallels all over Sephiroth - the six wings in place of legs, the halos and heavenly background, and even his special attack "Heartless Angel." I hope you find this trivia interesting.

Yes, quite interesting indeed. I kinda thought a little bit about this too... Like "Hey, maybe they meant "Seraph" Spehiroth or something". ^_^

Actually, they meant 'Sepher' Sephiroth. While they also did allusion to seraphs and all, they meant 'Sepher' ('Safer' is just a different writting). 'Sepher Sephiroth' literally means 'Book of Numbers'. S. Sephy and all other stuff were an allusion to the Kabbalah.
