Description Scientific Name: Spectrovenator Ragei
Meaning: Ghost Hunter
Time Period: Early Cretaceous Period. 125 Million Years Ago
Family: Abelisauridae
Discovered in: Brazil, South America
Length: 2.5 meters Long
Height: 1 Meter
Diet: Carnivore

Description:
Spectrovenator, was a unique member of the abelisaurids, being not only one of the smallest members of the group, but also being a basal member of the group, being a transitional form from the most basal abelisaurids, to the more advance abelidsaurids from the rest of the Cretaceous

This animal lives during the early Cretaceous period in coastal environments, being a medium size carnivore from the area. His long legs give the suggestion that spectrovenator could have been a fast moving predator, focusing on medium-sized prey, using his speed to chasing its prey from a little while.
