EDIT: I PROMISE I am working on new things, but... I HAD to re-do this one. I used the gradiant tool for a lot of the colours in this touch up; also, since I had access to my GOOD mouse, I was able to make the outlines A LOT better
This is from the first episode of the 5th season of Futurama, Rebirth.
Essentially here, the ship is nose-diving in for a crash, the crew's only protection is this force-field kind of sphere.... but it only covers their heads! So, their bodies are still susceptible to damage and even death. Fry, feeling the compulsion (of course) to protect Leela, covers her hoping to save her! SO HE ENDS UP TAKING THE BLUNT OF THE FIRE FOR HER!!
I saw this explosion and I was like, "AHH!! NUUU!!!

Farnsworth was kind of a jerk in the beginning, seeing how he had a full bubble while the rest of the crew only had head bubbles. Still find it funny that Fry was somehow able to save Leela, at the terrible cost to himself.

Fffff... they were more-so off-and-on... well into season 6 they even ADMIT they've been off-and-on much to Leela's dismay...
At the end of season 6 they acknowledge (not specifically) that their relationship WILL have it's ups and downs... but it'll result in a happy ending
